Cristina Vulpe is a registered veterinarian with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and a PhD in veterinary oncology. She has worked with a range of small animals, from cats and dogs to guinea pigs and exotic birds.

Experience
Cristina began working in the veterinary field while still a student, at a veterinary pharmacy in her third year. After graduating she became a vet at a clinic, where her work ranged from giving vaccinations to operating on cats and dogs. She has also carried out post-mortem (anatomopathological) examinations on farm animals, mostly pigs and chickens, and has managed a veterinary clinic, working with other vets and veterinary technicians.
Publications
She is a co-author of Radiological Contrast Studies of the Digestive Tractus in the Pigeon (Columba domestica) (opens in new tab), a scientific presentation published by the European Society of Radiology.
