Strombergs Chickens doesn’t just sell chickens…they sell pigeons, doves, ducks, pheasants, peacocks and swans too!

If you’re looking for a pigeon local to you it is always worth having a quick look on there to see if there are any breeders nearby.

6. Birdsnow

Birdsnow is one of our favorite places to browse pigeons.

It is basically a Gumtree or Craiglist but exclusively for the sale of birds.

It features ads from breeders with pictures of the pigeons as well as information about their age and size.

If you’re particular about the type of pigeon you are looking for you can probably find exactly what you want on there at any given time (at the time of writing there are 225 different ads live there for pigeons across the U.S) in any given place. So whether you’re looking to buy a pigeon in Chicago, London, Belfast or anywhere in the world this is a great place to start.

7. Pigeon Exchange

Pigeon Exchange is a classifieds ads site dedicated exclusively to pigeons.

The site was started by Scott who was frustrated that while he could find classified ads for pigeons, they were often only either local ads or as a sub-category of a much larger classifieds website.

Consequently, he set up Pigeon Exchange to focus solely on pigeons and making it easier for people to buy and sell them online.

8. Craigslist

Craigslist is an interesting place, full of all kinds of weird, wonderful and strange things.

If you ignore the weird and the strange and focus on the wonderful then you will find plenty of adverts for pigeons on your local Craigslist.

A note of caution though with these kinds of sites you’ve no idea who you are buying off, whether they have taken care of the pigeons and more so always take care in your dealings with any sellers and be diligent.

A classified ads listing site specifically for the sale of UK based birds, with (at the time of writing) 50 pigeons ads currently live.

11. Pets 4 Homes (UK)

Pets 4 Homes is a well-known place to buy sell and rehome pets of any variety including pigeons.

Pets 4 Homes usually has a healthy number of pigeons ads live on the site (at the time of writing I can see that there are 78 pigeons for sale on there).

Pets 4 Homes is a relatively safe place to buy from as they have a deposit scheme whereby you can place a deposit through Pets4Homes using your bank card. This deposit is then held by Pets4Homes, until you and the seller have finalized the transaction and are both happy.

12. Preloved (UK)

Preloved is another classified ads site that routinely has ads for pigeons (at the time of writing I can see 92 ads for Pigeons for sale).

Be aware as it is free to place an ad here you often get duplicate ads across Gumtree/Preloved/Craigslist etc, so in many cases if you’ve already checked one of the classified ads sites you may have already seen the same pigeons.
